There is no public crash score for the carriers you hire
You already have the USDOT. The crash score is not on the public record for the carriers you hire. ClearTheTender’s file is $35 after you look them up, and it does not add that score.
FMCSA’s public page keeps the crash category hidden. We do not show a crash or hazmat score. We do not show a percentile.
What stays off the public page
FMCSA’s public page says the crash category and the hazmat compliance category stay hidden. For a property carrier, the comparison ranks and FMCSA’s public alerts are not on that page either. Inspection and crash records can still be listed. The hidden piece is the score.
What the lookup shows instead
The free search shows whether FMCSA has flagged a category, and whether the carrier is out of service. It does not show the numeric safety measure. ClearTheTender’s $35 file, after that search, adds the measure for the categories that are public. It does not add a crash score or a hazmat score. We do not show a percentile. A measure is not a rank against other carriers.
We don't show a crash or hazmat score. Those records are not public for the carriers you hire, so a number there would not be FMCSA's file.
What we will not print
We do not say the carrier is safe. The file after the search does not add the hidden score.
Look up the USDOT
Type the USDOT you already have. The search does not show a crash score, a hazmat score, or a rank. ClearTheTender’s file is $35 after that search. It adds the safety measure for the categories that are public. The PDF has a SHA-256 hash so you can check it against that day. The hash does not win a case. ClearTheTender Broker Pro is $129 a month for up to 500 USDOTs, with a daily email when a watched carrier is out of service or FMCSA’s alert flag is on. It is not an email that something changed.

Questions
Why is the crash indicator hidden?
FMCSA’s public page says the crash category stays hidden. We don't show a crash or hazmat score. Those records are not public for the carriers you hire, so a number there would not be FMCSA's file.
Is a comparison rank the same as a safety rating?
No. We do not show a percentile. A safety rating comes from a review. It is on ClearTheTender’s $35 file after you search. The free search does not show it.
Can the public still see a crash?
FMCSA’s public page can still list recordable crashes. What it withholds is the crash score. We do not print a number there.
Need a Due Diligence Dossier?
Search the national active-carrier directory. A single-carrier Due Diligence Dossier is $35.
Look up a USDOTRunning a broker desk?
Broker Pro watches a CSV of up to 500 USDOTs and sends a daily email when one is out of service or FMCSA’s alert flag is on. The dossier keeps the measure, the alert, and the out-of-service status from that day, not a ranking we invented.
